FOUNDED IN 1938 BYA GROUP OF YOUNGSTERS FROM ST. MICHAEL STREET 1938 to 1939 For two seasons the Club played friendly matches, winning the first honour in 1938 by beating Valletta St Paul in a Challenge Cup Final. 1940 to 1946 During the war the Club was inactive.

 

After the war the M.F.A. formed what was then called the Associate Members League. The Saints were amongst the participants, winning the section in 1947 and loosing the Cup Final in the same season.
1956 to 1959 For three seasons the Marsa District League was organised. The matches used to be played at the Mosta Ground with the Saints winning the Championship and the Cup on the three occassions.
1967 to 1969 The Marsa District League was re-organised with the Saints being crowned Champions again in 1967 and Runners Up in 1968. In 1969 Marsa St Michael’s F.C. won the A.S.C.C. III Division League.
1976 to 1980 Marsa St Michael’s won the M.A.F.A. II Division Championship in 1976 and 1980.
 

In the eighties Marsa St Michael’s now with a squad full of Maltese Internationals went from strength to strength. Winning the III Division and II Division Championship in two consecutive seasons of the Federation League they retired from this association unbeaten. They concentrated on the M.A.F.A. League. Their only dream was now a M.A.F.A. Major Honour. They achieved their ambition in1982 by emerging section winners. 1983 Marsa St Michael’s were M.A.F.A. Champions for the first time. 1985 to 1994 Marsa St Michael’s won a unique treble. They were Section Winners again, M.A.F.A. Champions and Cup Winners. . . Marsa St Michael’s were M.A.F.A. Champions again in 1985, and 1987. They failed in1988 but retained the title in 1989, 1992, and 1994, winning also the Knock Out Competition on five occasions in 1985, 1987, 1989, 1992 and 1993. To add to honours Marsa St Michael’s also won the Jerry Amaira Cup in and 1992. Theirs is a proud record.
